I’m still jetlagged a little after those 3 weeks back in north america, but activities like this keep me awake very well to say the least...

I went to a yearly car show here in Nagoya called “Auto Legend”. I won’t “photodump” all the pictures I took this weekend, because, to be honest, I’m still trying to sell the pictures and my crappy write-up to Patrick lol, but I still wanted to share a few shots that I didn’t select for the article itself. I don’t think I ever took as many pictures in a day than yesterday :)

I need a freaking 5D Mark3 (or 4?) and better lenses though :(

Hope you enjoy it!

For those who don’t know him, it’s Watanabe-san, owner of Rocky Auto, some sort of mythical car tuner located in my city.

Have you had the opportunity to drive a Yotahachi?

Nope, not yet... I know someone who owns one though. Not sure I know him enough to ask for a test drive/review yet though :)

Awesome! Hopefully you can, it’s one of my dream cars, and it’s kind of hard to find a review for.

Great photos!!! Thanks! Though, that stanced and stretch-tired Hachiroku is not how I’d prefer to see one.

Hachiroku?? That’s not the same price range of a car ;)

It’s a Kenmeri Skyline. Most likely not an original GT-R though.

Kinja'd!!!

But yeah I wouldn’t want mine like that either...

Process for finding out the exact specs of a car without googling because you are lazy:

Step 1: just guess at the model in an oppo comment

Step 2: be corrected in detail by oppo reply.

Step 3: bask in your newfound knowledge.

I AM THE PUPPET MASTER MUAHAHAHA!

(translation: I’m dumb. Thank you!)

Hmm I was wondering what the 3000gt meant, especially with Watanabe san standing next to it, then you showed the OS Giken motor next and I was thinking if he finally went insane and put a stroked L28 OS Giken motor into a 2000gt putting two of the rarest most unobtanium japanese things together. I’m glad he hasn’t lost it and that it just has a 2jz, and the Giken motor is in what looks like an old skyline based on the strut towers. Very cool, thanks for sharing!

The engine is a Nissan S20... Far more of an unobtanium than a L28 OS Giken ;)

As for the 2000GT, this one is a replica...

....can’t believe I missed that.

I remembered something about it and looked up the documentary again and saw that part. Man too much time focused on projects makes me forget what other people are doing. Good looking out!
